VoltageGPU dedicated bare metal, 8x H100 SXM, a production node rented through the public API on 2026-10-24 (times in UTC). The NVIDIA driver and Fabric Manager were installed with https://voltagegpu.com/dedicated-setup.sh, then the hwcheck acceptance test ran. Every file is the raw output of the command written on its first line. SHA256SUMS lists them all. 00-probe.txt the machine as delivered: Ubuntu 24.04.5 LTS, kernel 6.8.0-139-generic, Secure Boot disabled, no NVIDIA module loaded, 8 GPUs and 4 NVSwitches on the PCI bus 01a-dedicated-setup-first-version-failed.txt the first version of the script (dedicated-setup-first-version-failed.sh) failed at the DKMS build: NVIDIA's dkms package only recommends gcc, and that version installed without recommends. It also exited with apt-get's code 100, which it used to mean "reboot", so the node was rebooted for nothing. 01b-purge-after-failed-first-version.txt what that first version installed from NVIDIA (keyring, pin, dkms, driver) removed again 01c-dedicated-setup.txt the published script, SHA-256 on its first line, identical to dedicated-setup.sh: exit 0, "ready in 2 min 12 s". The 358 MB of NVIDIA packages came from the apt cache of the first run, which had downloaded 365 MB in 14 s: count about 15 s more on a fresh machine. 02-nvidia-smi.txt to 06-services-and-packages.txt nvidia-smi, fabric state Completed / Success, topology (NV18 between all 56 GPU pairs), 144 NVLinks at 26.562 GB/s, Fabric Manager and persistence daemon running, package versions 07-hwcheck-files.txt, 07-hwcheck-listing.txt hwcheck 1.1 as of github.com/VoltageGPU/hwcheck commit d13bd29, copied to the node, then checked against the listing (8x H100, 80 GB). The P2P thresholds were raised after this run, from its own measurements; the files served now differ from these two hashes for that reason. 08-acceptance-console.txt, hwcheck-acceptance-* the acceptance test (hwcheck.sh --acceptance --gpus 8 --bare-metal) as user ubuntu: RESULT: PASS, with the report, JSON and SHA-256 file written by the tool Not shown here: the test account, its keys (deleted after the run) and the machine's address.
